Heroes Comics Cover "Series"

I collected images of people showing heroism in action: doctors, law enforcement, first responders, teachers, etc.– everyday people who make a difference. In Adobe Illustrator, I turned those images into vectorized silhouettes and altered them to make them more visually apparent. I also used Illustrator to create the logo and certain comic book motifs for each panel of the artwork. I separately created various color backgrounds using soft pastels on eleven 9”x12” canvasses. I tailored each canvas to each drawing, so each canvas has its own color, application, and texture. I uploaded the image of each canvas into Illustrator and placed them behind the silhouettes.
